Well since I’m on extended leave until February, what should I do?
Should I get a job?
Or should I take a risk and try to finally start doing webdesign, designing custom blog templates for cash?

Here’s a summary of important points from Revolution : MIIM 3 if you dont want to go through the massive wall of text I wrote previously.

1. Students from Semester 1 to 6 are on extended leave until the 14th of February 2008.

2. It is confirmed that a new campus had been acquired at Wisma Lembaga Juru Ukur Tanah, Taman Melawati. This campus is under renovation and it is expected that renovations will be complete by the end of January 2008.

3. Students undergoing practical will continue with their practical. Media Prima has also extended its hand in offering those who did not get a company to work with, and offering to let them partake their practical with any company under Media Prima.

4. Semester 7 students taking courses in Diploma in Broadcast Management (DBM) and Diploma in Multimedia Production (DMP) as well as those working on their final projects are offered to continue their studies in SAL institute starting December. She highly advises the students to do so, because the lecturers will have more time to focus on the students instead of other work, and for the first time, Lecturers were allowed to join Instructors and Students doing their final project.

5. Final semester students who do not meet the required credit hours may do their practicals first and then cover for their credit hours later once the college has been re-established. This is however according to Pn. Sharoni, under discussion with MOHE.

6. Convocation will be held in March instead of February.

Today, sometime around 10am in the morning, a meeting was held between the the Staff and Students of MIIM and their parents, and the Task Force set up to handle the current issue of cleaning up the mess that has resulted when the Staff and Students of MIIM were evicted from our campus at Wangsa Maju Section 5. This was a result of around half a million ringgit of unpaid rent to TV3. The meeting was held at the De Palma Hotel in Ampang.

Those present on stage as part of the Task Force were, Encik Zulkifli the Parent Representative, Puan Sharoni as Head of Academic Affairs of MIIM, Encik Nizam representative of the Management (I think), En Latif the Chairperson of MIIM, a representative of Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE) and his associate, and a representative from PTPTN. Also present on stage was Student Representative Kumaran Rajamooney.

Hitman Codename 47, the silent modern day assassin, is a popular Anti-Hero from the Hitman game series. And now he has come to the big screen.

Hitman the movie did a good job coming up with a realistic approach to the background of Agent 47 and the organization and giving it a real world feel. But story wise, the movie, kind of lacked (easily understandable) depth and the attempt to give it depth by throwing in so many things kind of failed although did make it a fun no brainer movie. 47’s relationship with the main actress was also kind of weird and corny.

The action sequences were awesome, lots of blood, realistic looking blood, not that fake ass 300 blood, lots of awesome firearms sending bullets flying around and cool stunts and even some cool hand to hand combat. Oh oh, and explosions! :D However I was very disappointed that 47 did not kill anyone using his trademark strangling wire, and the only time it was used was to capture someone and not kill. That cost the movie the most for me.

Overall it was an entertaining movie with fulfilling action sequences (except for the wire part)
