I got tagged by SigverygheyGhey, and since my brain is now a puddle of mush due to boredom and brain damage due to long leave I thought I’d do it for laughs

Titan Wings Studios

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

I’ve wanted to do something with my main domain titanwings.com for a long time. And after 2 years of doing almost nothing with it, I finally made a website. Titan Wings Studios has finally been launched. The site will serve more or less as a portfolio of sorts for myself, and I’m also going to be putting up some free wordpress themes up there. Hopefully someday I can use it as a source of income :)

Anyway currently there are three wordpress theme’s up there, my Glass series. Here’s a preview of one of em :)

Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles

Monday, January 21st, 2008

It’s always bad to put a series in between two released movies and try to make it seem to connect the two movies when it clearly changes what happened between those two movies.

Terminator : The Sarah Connor Chronicles may not have suffered from that, but it was daaamn boring. I didn’t even finish watching the first episode. This series has a lot of weight to carry in making sure it doesn’t spoil the image of the the Terminator movies. Currently it really doesn’t seem to be holding up.

Sarah Connor, John Connor, and the two Terminators characters are like doorknobs, really plain characters. I’m not saying that the actors are bad but they don’t seem to be able to carry the weight of the characters. The storyline might be interesting, but the dialogue is blegh.

This series definitely not something I’ll be watching. But hope still lives for Terminator 4

Izukano Comics

Monday, January 21st, 2008

While working on some other stuff I suddenly remembered some comics I did with my friend Daryl (later we wrote 1 with help of our friend Jia Loon), when I was in Form 5.

The comic as I originally thought of it was going to be about Malaysian High School kids, but somehow we ended up doing Japanese High School kids (not that I’m complaining, it was still good lol). The way we thought of it, the comic would be some sort of visual playback of the past with future representations of myself (Deleted) and Daryl (Claude) commenting on the events of the comics in the comic itself sometimes.

The comic was drawn by Daryl, because he can really draw and I did most of the story writing and I also digitalized the line work and did the colouring.

I think we took the comic to a more serious level then we were prepared, we were both busy, and I as lord slacker would slack on doing the comics for a while. We only managed to do 6 comics, it was a fun run albeit very very short lol.

Anyway just thought I’d share with you guys :) (click on the preview image to see the whole comic)
